  • Duties: Scanning microfilm, processing image files in Adobe Acrobat paper capture, creating corresponding database records for the Virtual Vietnam Archive [http://www.vietnam.ttu.edu/virtualarchive/]. This is an undergraduate student position and therefore does not offer any tuition wavers or benefits.

  • Requirements: Excellent reading comprehension and attention to detail. Must be comfortable working at a computer for extended periods of time. The following qualifications are preferred but not required: work experience in a library or archives, interest in American history, the Vietnam War, military history, and Southeast Asian culture and geography. Experience scanning photographs and/or documents, experience with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and database software (FileMaker, Access or similar) is also preferred.

  • Salary: $6.55/hour
